Now I can start the next chapter of my art journey all caught up! Here’s to hoping I get accepted into Tyler in the fall so I can keep producing some cool works that inspire me. I want to make LARGE scale pieces but it’s hard to go big when you’ve never touched the materials before so baby steps lol

All of these pieces were made either this past semester or the one before. I’m really happy with how all my ceramics turned out and for my first time oil painting, welding, installations, and really all of these crafts and creative mediums, I think I’m doing a pretty damn good job. It’s that time of year for giving friends and loved ones. Now is a better time than ever.
I’m sure I won’t be the first to bring up the SNAP cuts to you all. It is devastating and has hit even my family personally. I am so grateful to all of you that due to all of your generosity and supporting me my family are okay this winter season but I know thousands are not. So when they fail us we turn to each other. Community and action is always the answer and this was a big positive of making my own business. I want to give back as much as I am given and this is a good chance to do so.
So here’s the plan:
I am personally going to hit as many local elementary schools as I can around not just the studio but neighboring townships as well. I want to make winter holiday boxes to give to the school to hand to their families in need and without this month. I personally will be buying a lot of foods myself and trying to meet any box you guys help me provide. If by the chance I have extra, the food banks have been struggling too so I’ll be hitting those as well.
This sale is running every day for all of November. Every person can bring up to 3 items each to stack savings! The savings can be insane and it’s for a really great cause. I’m open to foods that aren’t on here and I really wanted to add fruits and veggies. Hard thing with that is they are perishable. So I’ll be grabbing those the day of dropping the holiday boxes off to give the best chance for the families to enjoy them without having to rush before they go bad. I hope that makes sense.
I want to thank any person reading this far and caring. Empathy, compassion, community, and love are our coolest and I feel most purest human traits. I am practicing everyday to be pursuing, embracing, and spreading as much of those things as I can.
I would be honored if you would jump in or even go out yourself to find your neighbors and food banks who need help and extend a hand. Even the simplest and smallest gestures go further than you’ll ever know.

Soooo I’m sure it’s absolutely normal but it STILL doesn’t feel real. I’m always delayed with feelings like these, but I know what I am feeling an overwhelming amount of is gratitude and love. I am so honored and thankful to have incredible family members and friends around me during such a pivotal time in my life. I’m notorious for trying to keep to myself and doing things alone even if I’m struggling a bit more by doing so. I seriously could not have done this one on my own. To my wonderful and amazing partner Seth for the countless late nights listening and helping with planning and implementing said plans in this room, to my friends Sabrina and Lexi for their endless advice and support, to all of you looking at this and reading this. The warmth it fills me with is immense and all encompassing. I’ve never felt something quite like it. My thanks is an understatement and I just can’t wait to have you all in to see for yourself.
