This is one of my favorite photographs. From a life before this life, we hiked up a mountain path in Pennsylvania autumn, we were just kids. No idea of the wild trail ahead of us.
When we went our separate ways in our late teen years and lost touch for a long time, this photograph kept resurfacing. The memory of her was like a silhouette over the water of my mind, center focus, details obscured in shadow, undeniable.
And when we reunited years later, I knew I wouldn’t live like that again, and I’d never let her go.
Today I’m celebrating the birthday of this beautiful woman, who climbed mountains with me and moved mountains for me. When I took this picture I couldn’t conceive of the love I would hold for her, my wife, the mother of my children, my best friend. @chiaroscurio
Bringing together a couple of techniques that i have been working on with this project.
Especially volume shading and physics based camera movement (still a little bumpy on this render but it took forever to render so im posting it anyway) #blender #3dart #animation
