April come back, I loved you!! Transparently I can remember that I loved April so much but at this exact moment I literally cannot remember one concrete reason why?? custom work is always a bit nerve-wracking bc my job is to create a real, tangible object based on an idea that lives in someone else’s head and has been shown/described to me and that’s a little bit wild when u think about it??

Bits and pieces from the making of my Homegrown Pre-order pieces ❣️creating things with the intention of selling them is a process of adding and subtracting. Starting with raw pieces of wood & removing material to shape them into their final form. Adding oil and wax for protection & shine. Piling pieces on every available surface in my studio where they wait. Emptying it out to send each item to its new home. Again and again. ✶
Dr. called & said I need to sit in the spring sun coming through my windows every morning and sip my coffee and think nice thoughts or else I’ll get very very sick!!
