Dear Dad,
4 years is a long time here without you. Longer than is fair. Or makes sense. Or than it ever should have been. I wish all the people I know now could know you. I think that is the most unfair part of all. But I’m grateful that I got your sense of humor. And your big head. And your wheezy laugh. And your kind eyes. So maybe my people could know you, even a little, through me. I love you! Wish you were here.
