Every time I come back from a trip I feel a renewed sense of love and appreciation for life. Axel and I had only met twice before deciding to go on this trip together- sitting at gas stations across the country every day, shooting the shit about bikes and what inspires us in this whole thing, fixing our bikes on the side of the road together, helping each other on the side of the freeway at 1am- we are a lot alike. I consider him a close friend now.
From Axel:
Traveled 3,300 miles across the country on old beaten choppers. Running out of gas, two rear flat tires, a worn out front tire, points and condensers wearing out, oiling issues, and a blown up motor. It was the trip of a lifetime, and wouldn’t change a thing. I’m grateful for Tay’s help and good spirit throughout the entire trip and now consider him a close friend. We saw the country in a completely different lens and met a lot of good people on the road. Thank you to Wil, Christian, and Aylmer for opening each of your homes to us when we were beaten down and tired. No matter how many breakdowns, we always reminded ourselves that we were living the best times of our lives and to soak it up. High Spirits and big smiles, Yin and Yang go cross country 2025, can’t wait to run it back!
-Axel has documented the whole trip on his point and shoot film camera, he is also editing a full length movie of the trip- it will be released on his YouTube channel.

Hot damn, that Texas sky! I just pulled my Olympus Stylus out of my pocket and threw it up behind my back while riding, and this was the result. Giddy Up Tx was one of the best weekends of my life.
Shot with my Sony A7. Thanks to all the people who make rad shit for me to use. Very grateful. I like going out with the intention of shooting photos- I never do it spontaneously cause I’m focused on other shit. Gotta get better at bringing the camera along.

Finished up this 1950 HD panshovel last month. It will be up for sale when I die and my wife and kids inherit the burden of junk I collected throughout my life.
