Now that all the prep is done, we’re onto the fun part. We’re using @taubmans Endure on the walls, it’s super durable, gives great coverage, and leaves a lovely, even finish. For the cabinetry and skirting boards, we’ve gone with Taubmans Water Based Enamel for that smooth, hard-wearing result.
The colour is ‘Deep Claret’. I’ve been so inspired by the darker, tonal interiors lately, and I just love how rich and moody this shade is.
It’s honestly amazing how a fresh coat of paint can completely change the feel of a space. This mudroom now feels intimate, intentional, and so beautiful, the perfect complement to our recently renovated bathroom!

MUDROOM MAKEOVER / Part 1
Our mudroom has been sitting unfinished for over 6 months… so it feels so good to finally give this space a fresh start. For this project, we’ve partnered with @taubmans and if there’s one thing Rondog always says, it’s this: painting is all in the prep & the quality of the paint.
We’re using Taubmans 3-in-1 Prep (primer, sealer + undercoat in one) as the base for our walls, and Taubmans Advanced Adhesion & Mould Blocker on the cabinetry, it’s the ideal primer for laminate and high-use areas.
And the colour… Deep Claret. Dark, rich, and absolutely worth the wait. Trust the process, this transformation is going to be a good one! Part 2 is where it all comes to life.
