Tattoo aftercare isn’t skin care, it’s wound care. “Organic” sounds right in cosmetics, but when skin is broken, medical principles like barrier control, sterility, and predictability matter more than ingredient ideology.

Thankyou @chesterbe for helping so many of us to heal. @linkinpark has been a huge part of so many lives, offering therapy and escapism when access to help for mental health felt impossible. I chose this as the winner for my competition, it wasn’t a difficult choice 🩵

I want to have Chester from Linkin Park tattooed on me because his music and his voice have been a constant source of strength throughout my life. Chester was more than a singer he was someone who turned pain, anxiety, and struggle into something powerful and honest. His lyrics made me feel understood during moments when I felt alone, and his ability to express raw emotion helped me get through some of my hardest times.
The tattoo isn’t just about the band it’s a tribute to someone whose impact on my life has been deep and personal. Chester’s legacy reminds me to keep going, to speak openly about mental health and to find resilience even in dark moments. Carrying his image on my skin is my way of honoring the inspiration he gave me and keeping that reminder with me every day.

So I decided to do a thing 👀
There are multiple reasons why I decided to tattoo myself. Obviously the main reason because I thought it would look cool! And tbh I’m obsessed with how it’s come out 😍
But also because I wanted to try a few new products. Trying them on myself allows me to see exactly how a product works and the healing process which then allows me to guide my clients the right way and allowing me to provide the best products and care for my clients 🖤

Today we added the shading to Carla’s back piece and I’m obsessed with how this one came together. It’s still a little fresh and warm right now, but once healed it’ll settle into a much softer grey tone 🤍
Kind of bittersweet seeing this project come to an end, but I’m super happy with the final result. Can’t wait to grab some healed shots when we start on her leg next session 💪🏻
