So much culture, so many flavors, and the kind of energy KC needs more of. I ate GOOD. Like… islanders don’t miss when it comes to chicken and pineapple drinks. And if there’s a cantaloupe drink on the menu, I’m ordering it every time.

From authentic Asian & Pacific Islander eats to live cultural performances, this festival brought Kansas City together to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month in the most flavorful way 🌏🔥
The West Bottoms turned into a global street market — full of color, music, and dishes that tell stories from across Asia and the Pacific Islands. So many showed up, creating an electric atmosphere that felt like one big family celebration 💛

Our very first Asian cultural event was an amazing experience!
The support and love for these bao buns was second to none. The Cheezy Beast Bao was a HIT, and y’all sold us out after 6 straight hours of nonstop work. We can’t thank you all enough, and we’re truly sorry to everyone who didn’t get a chance to get their hands on our baos or try the new item.
Our team was the real MVP. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off. Thank you guys big time!!!
