~ a culmination of 9-5 frustrations, city scapes and embracing what is ~
F.O.M.O ~ took 12 versions to get right and two bpm switch ups
CRY BABY ~ the moment I added the vibraphone and it just came to life
TURNS INTO CUSTARD - I plugged in my MicroKorg and the lead sound just made the whole thing pop, also recording live drums at the studio
SLEEP WALKING - I bought a terrible acoustic guitar off marketplace but it sounded so good on this song. It rained very hard and I had to battle the sound in the vocal takes
LIKE WATER SINKING ~ recorded in my living room, really wanted to make something with this specific chord change in the chorus after listening to Beth Gibbons recent record
COMFY ~ walking through the park in Christchurch and wrote the basis of all the melodies and some lyrics
