a piece inspired by insomnia. these last few weeks have been rough and i havent been sleeping very well. when I was a kid, I remember an adult telling me about the sleep man. it was a dude that would hover over sleepless children, sprinkling sleep into their eyes. it obviously terrified me lol. but I was inspired by it yesterday, and created my own - slightly less terrifying - rendition. I like to think she's the keeper of nightmares too ๐ฆโโฌ

this one was so much fun ๐ค its my take on 'rat kings' which is a phenomenon where rats tails get tangled up into a knot, often leading to mass death. this is the opposite, of course. a little nod to the matriarchal society i daydream about.
