Day 2 - Imlil Village
Day hiking the Imlil village situated in the Atlas Mountains. Just a 2 hour drive along the nauseating serpentine road and you’re there. 10/10 would do it again.
Day 2 - The Souks
As I stepped into the vibrant souks of Marrakech (est in 11th century), it felt like I have entered a world frozen in time.
A kaleidoscope of colours and scents, the calls of the shopkeepers, the never ending honking of the motorcyclists as they try to make their way through the tight corridors. It created a sensory overload that felt like a John Wick action film, in the best way possible.
Time seems to dissolve inside the souks. You could spend hours wandering through the labyrinthine of alleyways, with each turn offering something new and different to explore. Getting lost didn’t feel like a mistake, it was a part of the experience.
Exploring the market wasn’t just a dream come true, it was like stepping into history; into the city’s beating heart where the past and present still move as one.

A 1.5 hr drive from Toronto, and you’re in a Hallmark movie. A huge thanks to @katflorencehotels and @elorachristmasmarket for an amazing weekend getaway. 🎄🥂
