The day you adopt a new friend, you know this day is inevitable. Mello was adopted a little over 2 1/2 years ago. He was a senior of unknown age. We knew we wouldn't have him for all that long. It's never enough time. The grief is the price paid for the time shared and it's always worth it. RIP Mello.

It was the best possible way to spend 28 years and the final skate was beyond every expectation.
