Two strangers at an airport fall asleep after a flight delay, slipping into shared lucid dreams. Their subconscious minds merge, transforming the mundane into a dark, surreal journey. As they unknowingly project each other’s hidden fears and desires, the piece becomes a powerful metaphor for psychological projection. Blurring the line between reality and fantasy, it unveils the delusions that shape both our dreams and waking lives.

Το Lucid Absurdities εξερευνά την ιστορία δύο άγνωστων μεταξύ τους ανθρώπων σε ένα αεροδρόμιο, οι οποίοι, αναμένοντας μια πτήση που έχει καθυστερήσει, αποκοιμιούνται και γλιστρούν σε τρία κοινά όνειρα, όπου τα υποσυνείδητά τους συγχωνεύονται. Μέσα στο ονειρικό τοπίο, το τραύμα αναδύεται σε διαστρεβλωμένες μορφές, καθώς συγκρούονται κρυμμένοι φόβοι και επιθυμίες.

What a big surprise and gift to learn that the theme of this year’s edition of @sibenik.dance.festival was inspired by the text in my solo PANOPTICON “The Doors to Other Dimensions Are Open”, and the pictures by @giorgos.tsag were at the core of the visuals.
