I felt like 2-D, Noodle, Russel & Murdoc were standing along side me during each installment. I grew up with Gorillaz from the very beginning & seeing them in this way still fresh, still a part of my life, still bigger than ever & still creating a world I truly love & adore is a great feeling. What a great way to spend Valentine’s day then watching restored classic cartoons on the big screen, puppets belting love ballads & raising funds for animators affected by the fires. 💕 The evening celebrated the love for all things Betty Boop at the historic @bobbakermarionettes theatre in Hollywood. Had the privilege to visit “The House of Kong”Exhibition. I didn’t want to be spoiled & went in blind thinking it was an art gallery but it was SO much more. I had a tiny hand in helping out with the Fortnite x Gorillaz collab. It’s really cool to see everyone finally playing as the band in their Plastic Beach attire & enjoying all the references.
