It feels weird and kind of unreal to write the caption for a somewhat simple post after this disastrous US election. This song was meant as a fun way of dealing with the anger and frustration towards white, rich men who are trying to undermine democracy and human rights. Its “relevance” was supposed to end on November 5th. Now the whole world has to deal with Donald Trump for another four years. Hopefully this song can bring some joy and emotional support to those personally and emotionally affected by the outcome of the election.
