1. It is NOT a program to fix youābecause you are not broken.
We WILL help you remember this truth.
Most students who come to our Yoga Teacher Training are longing for deep change or healing. But hereās the reality: you are already whole, already connected. You donāt need 1,000 sun salutations or 100 hours of meditation to āget somewhere.ā You are already there. Our work is simply to remove whatās blocking you from remembering this.
2. It is NOT a cookie-cutter, corporate program to get you āgood at yoga asana.ā
We WILL curate a unique experience to help you find clarity and peace within.
From day one, we ask students to reflect on their life missionāwhat we call Sankalpaābecause we believe your reason for being here is deeply tied to your dharma and life purpose. Our program integrates all the traditional tools of yoga: asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and self-inquiry. Through this, students gain profound self-awareness and confidence, supported by consistent, grounded practice. The results speak for themselves.
3. It is NOT a āone path fits allā system claiming to be the only way.
We WILL help you discover the many paths of yogaāand find your own.
While some programs insist on a single āauthenticā style, we believe the only authentic yoga is the one that resonates in your heart. Theresa, a masterās student in Yoga Studies, teaches that yoga has always been contextual. When we are truly connected, itās all yoga. Our training draws from ancient Indian traditions and integrates modern science to help you find YOUR way.
4. We will NOT disappear after graduation.
We WILL continue to support you long after the training ends.
Yes, 30-day retreats in Bali or India are beautiful (weāve done them!), but when theyāre over, students often struggle to find community or opportunities to grow. Our Seeds to Tree program is designed to support your teaching journey from day one. New grads are mentored and immediately invited to teach as āSeedā teachers, gradually growing into leadership rolesāincluding leading citywide events. Itās real, sustained support.

At Yoga in the City we combine community, movement and music together to create a meaningful time of connection, both inside and out. Big thanks to our amazing teacher Biljana for leading this practice and all yogis that showed up on the mat!ā¤ļøšāØ
āØGoing to Uganda with us will literally be a life changing experience. I donāt say that lightly, I mean it.
šFrom time together with local Ugandans learning how they are serving the community, to time in unfathomable nature, and being face to face with wild animals on safari, itās just too good.

The Yoganda Trip
with Taozi Tree Yoga
Maybe the point was never to arrive...
I keep thinking thereās going to be a moment where everything just... settles.
Like lāIl finally feel done.
Like I made it to something.
But it never really happens.
Because even when I get close, Iām already thinking about the next thing.
Thereās always something else to chase.
Something to fix.
Something to do better.
Something to fix.
Something to do better.
And I donāt think that ever stops.
There isnāt really a version where everything feels complete.
But when Iām in it-like actually in it-
none of that matters.
The goals, the pressure, the overthinking... it all kind of goes quiet.
And Iām just here.
Doing the thing.
Breathing.
Moving.
Present.
And maybe thatās the only time it ever feels like enough.
So maybe the point was never to arrive...
just to keep coming back to that.

An amazing FIRE weekend with our 200 hour yoga teacher training in Beijing with @taozi.tree.yoga I am so grateful for the work we get to do. Spending time with special yogis; curious about bringing this practice off the mat and into their lives. Thank you to @monica_roottorise@ashishjan15@rongkunzhao for your help teaching. ā¤ļøWorking with an intimate relationship with self, and truth in some core philosophy about sukha, dukha and the branches of avidya we learn how to see how we can transform our perspective and live in a technicolor world. #yogateachertraining #beijing #inspiration
