Tangular is the psychedelic music project of Mrinal, born and bred in Bangalore. Exposed to psytrance through South India’s deepest undergrounds and dark psy festivals across Europe, he birthed the project in 2018 with one intent: a fresh take on contemporary psychedelic music. Fast-paced, melancholic, and surgical – his sound is where shadows learn to dance.
Fusing traditional and contemporary music with a deep affinity for metal, Tangular uses psychedelic trance as an orchestral weapon. His sets are designed to unlock unexplored parts of the self – brutal yet cinematic, raw yet intricate.
As one of the main minds behind Post Modern Music, he’s been instrumental in shaping the movement and pushing India’s underground to global relevance.
