✨WORKSHOP IS WED MAY 13th NOT MAY 9th✨ . I am so excited to announce that I will be offering a BRAND NEW workshop @two.suns.art_bend !! . For those who have dipped their toes into block-printing and are wanting to explore more techniques and printing in COLOR… here it is! May 9th I’ll be putting on a reduction printmaking workshop! Reduction printing is a multi-layered printing process that uses a single block to create a multi-colored print. . In this workshop we’ll move through the different stages of creating a reduction print exploring design, carving techniques, and printing in color! . This class is designed for folks who have a little block-printing experience and want to dive a little deeper. All materials & tools are provided, students will get to take home their completed stamp & multi-colored prints at the end of the workshop! . The doors to 𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗘𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 are open on April 8th for an evening of shared visioning. Bend’s nomadic tea temple is popping up after hours at the @desertrosecactuslounge & we’re inviting you to REIMAGINE THE FUTURE with us. This is a time to slow down & gather without distraction to dream a better world into being. We envision this gathering to be anchored in community-centered creative expansion through art, live music, and generative conversation. We’ll begin the night w/ a centering breath practice guided by Tanya from @amulettestudios . Our featured artist, Kassie from @tangled.roots , will guide us co-creating a collage mural - inspired by the powerful work of @intelligentmischief . And the room will be filled with dreamy violin played by Julie Canales @watchjulieplay … and sound magic by another surprise musical guest (to be announced soon).
