Hey there! I’m Melissa, creator and host of Tanglebloom Tiny Cabin.
Before we started sharing our enchanting retreat, my husband Mike @vermont.realtor built the sleeping cabin on our flower farm @tanglebloom for our own respite.
Today we host visitors from around the world, have been named an @airbnb most wish listed & most liked property, a @hipcamp of the year, and are even featured in some fancy-pants media.
All that tells us is what we’ve known (and hoped) all along: people are craving connection with nature, and a disconnection from hustle-centric living.
This is an escape. And, we’ve also seen how the experience can dig in like new roots. We love it when guests share how transformative it is to live slow in natural surroundings for a few days.

2️⃣ Have a specific date in mind like a birthday or meteor shower? Sign up for a Ping notification on our website to get an alert if your date opens up due to cancellation (they def happen!). Visit vermontcabin.net to set your alert.
3️⃣ Check our stories & posts for last-minute (< 2 weeks out) openings! Sometimes we get last-minute cancelations or a guest alters their reservation allowing us to open more dates. Add us to your Favorites ⭐️ list so you’ll see when we post.

It’s already filled when you arrive. The fire’s built too - just add a match. You wait about 90 minutes – tending the fire occasionally while you read or cook. And then you get in and look up at the sky and decide that this is, in fact, the best thing.
Our @hello_Goodland wood-burning hot tub is genuinely one of the best parts of staying here — there's no buttons, no chemicals, no agenda. Just hot water and trees and time.

Your 2-hr experience includes 55 mins in the sauna — cedar-lined, wood-fired, and wonderfully restorative — followed by time to transition, wander the flowers, and pick your own peony stems to take home. Early May on the farm means hundreds of peony plants budding up, wildflower seedlings doing their thing, and lots of anticipation. Guests who stay in late May and June get to walk through the tiny but mighty farm as it’s coming alive.
