Today our closing track 𝓘𝓷 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓷 from Unknown Beyond, which holds the secrets and space is re-communicated from another time and place via @trentemoeller * (⛓️ in bio) "In Resin” lyrically encapsulates the entire album and our experience over the last few years. It talks about being everything once and then being it all again, and living several lives at the same time. “In Resin” is a special track that we spiritually found ourselves oscillating between leaving it as a rare gem to discover on the album or presenting as a focus. We opted for the mystery, but Trentemøller dove into it. 𝓓𝓻𝓸𝓹 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓪 𝓭𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶 💧 @trentemoeller finished the new interpretation while we were on tour together in Europe. We feel our music is a communication and we are honored to continue In Resin’s sonic conversation with Trentemøller.

PESCETRULLO (soundscapes) out today - “Continuing their magnetic pull to observe and interact with ancient and handmade environments, Tan Cologne traveled to Puglia, Italy in September 2022 to intuitively record and perform on site and in residency at @pescetrullo , a unique space located among ancient olive trees and traditional rural structures. During historic lightning storms, power outages, and oscillating visitors, the duo created soundscapes composed of field recordings and live instrumentation, organic sounds and texture. Recording took place both inside and outside the distinct architectural structures as well as a parallel water to Pescetrullo, the seaside of Torre Pozzelle. Sounds were captured in coves and within cavernous cut-outs interacting with lapping water and smoothed ripples. Together with percussive recordings made inside the cement pool at Pescetrullo, and of rock stacking, thunder, glass bottle tapping, and insect behaviors, the sounds were pieced together to form a sonic imprint of the multidimensional layers. The project entitled “Pescetrullo (soundscapes)” is a different and site-specific presentation from the duo, centered in instrumental and ambient sound. The recordings and accompanying book of film photos will be released today via @labradorrecords on cassette (the label’s first cassette release!) with an accompanying zine of film photos as a time capsule - 1 year from recording. “ @riotactmedia Link in bio to listen and order the cassette + zine. One week from today! We’re rounding out the last Songs in the Skyspace of the season with @tancologne . The Taos, New Mexico–based dream pop duo of Lauren Green and Marissa Macias draws inspiration from landscapes and imagined spaces, creating immersive sound dialogues in recording and performance. Reservations will be available Friday, April 10 at noon. Seating is limited and performances often fill quickly. Those who book reservations but can no longer attend are kindly asked to email [email protected] so their tickets may be released to others.
