Film Club was one of the many ideas I put on @blackonthescene vision board in 2020. Little did I know, 4 years later, I’d actually be bringing it to life.
This journey continues to teach me to be patient. That in the midst of “waiting” God is always preparing me for what I’ve been praying for or even something better. And when the better comes, God is right there, leading the way!

A film studies and analysis program for high schoolers, taught through the lens of Black cinema.

Film and television have always been powerful tools, teaching us about culture, history, and who we are.
Over the years, our founder @tamiak has put that belief into action, creating programs, telling stories, and building community through film.
