This sweet surprise happened during rehearsal yesterday. Singing to my son and him singing back was the most incredible moment of my life. I love you, AJ 🥹❤️

Truly honored to co-host this year’s Youth America Grand Prix Gala - "The Stars of Today, meet the Stars of Tomorrow" alongside the incomparable Misty Copeland.
Sharing the stage with Misty, history maker and the first Black woman promoted to Principal Dancer at The American Ballet Theatre, was deeply meaningful. Her presence alone continues to open doors and expand what so many young artists believe is possible.
At Lincoln Center, I had the privilege of witnessing something really special. These young dancers stepped onto the stage of the David H. Koch Theater with courage, discipline, and so much heart. Every performance felt like a glimpse into the future of this art form.
There’s nothing quite like watching passion meet preparation in real time. It was inspiring, moving, and a powerful reminder of why spaces like this matter.
Grateful to have been a part of it. Here’s to the next generation continuing to raise the bar.

Meet the Cast : Tamar Greene as Robert
Tamar was most recently the longest running George Washington in the Broadway company of Hamilton. Tamar has graced stages worldwide – including venues across America, in Italy, Germany, England, and the Caribbean.
As a proud first-generation American, born of Jamaican and British parents, Tamar is a versatile artist whose musical passions mirror his eclectic background. As a writer, arranger, classical pianist and an opera singer, he combines much of his inspiration from Classical music, Reggae, Hip-Hop, R&B, Blues, and Jazz.
Alongside Tamar’s robust vocal studio, he is a frequent collegiate masterclass clinician and lecturer across America. Tamar’s fervent stance on Social/Racial equity has led him to be nominated as a representative for Ham4Progress, Hamilton’s racial justice task force, and has raised national census awareness, increased voter registration, and put action to the importance of investing in communities of color.
Robert : Jackie’s high school crush and symbolic “what if” who stirs old feelings. Charismatic yet emotionally unavailable, he walks the line between memory and reality.

What happens when Broadway comes to your living room for the kids? 🏡🎶
This Sunday, April 12th, we’re gathering in Brooklyn for On Broadway: Up Close — a salon-style fundraising evening with Tamar Greene, Kecia Lewis, and Christopher Sieber.
Our goal is $65,000 in scholarships for the young artists who are already doing the work. All we need is the right room of people to make it happen.
Come be in that room. Link in bio. 🙏🏾 #nonprofitorganization #beingofservice @onbroadwaypatp@therealkecialewis@tamar.greene@christopher_sieber
What an honor to perform at Jazz at Lincoln Center with these amazingly talented humans. Apollo & Psych is a benefit concert curated by Artistic Director and brilliant pianist Elaine Kwon for @onemindorg . It was a wonderful evening celebrating the powerful connection between the arts and mental well-being.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk 😉
I appreciate all who watched. If you missed it, it'll take some time for them to edit, but trust I'll be posting it once it's available.
