Chaordic is a mixed media textile show inspired by the dance between chaos and order in the creative process, and in life.
I put together this show with @queergrandma and we’re excited to share several of the pieces we’ve been sewing over the last few years alongside the work of many of textile artists we love across the Bay Area! We will also be releasing two zines about the process of making the show, and I’ll be selling some handmade CHAORDIC merch.
The amazingly talented and wonderful @hectoriiine will be playing at the opening as well!
Thanks to @meganmirro and the folks at The Dome for letting us host in their delightful studio!

extremely belated 2025 recap! one of the hardest years ever that felt like loss after loss, but there were moments of joy that I savored amidst it all, and these were some of them 💞
Little banner I made a while back with leftover fabric, some incredible trim from the shop at The Museum of Lace and textiles, and some metallic puff paint. Been thinking about color, whimsy, and fun as actively anti-fascist and anti-authoritarian. Gave this banner to my dear friend @boocassette_ for their birthday!

Made this little wall hanging in the colors of the Palestinian flag to give to the raffle for Gaza mutual aid at @tabernaclemarket this weekend! Photographed by @nnnaaathan
This is a crib quilt I collaborated on with my friend Anna (who is not on instagram) that is made from leftover indigo dyed napkins @_jhana_ and @croatnsensatn dyed for their wedding. Quilt is for their new precious kiddo who arrived recently! Anna did the piecework, I did the quilting, and Anna did the binding.
