It’s been three solid years with this car now and looking back, I’m super thankful for every event, moment, and experience or connection it has brought into my life. Who would’ve thought a washed up ol’ grandma sedan could be such a blast to drive!
With regular maintenance, a couple clutches, countless tires and a handful of adjustable suspension components thrown at it (surprisingly) the car has held up exceptionally well to all of the abuse of both track and daily driver duties.
A very special thank you to all of the helping hands, the photographers, the GLL staff who keep the wheels greased and everything in motion, and the friends who push you to become better at driving hard together. The laughter at the end says it all. I’m having so much fun.
First time out on an actual track and WOW, what a great experience. Super intimidating at first but just like skateboarding, you eventually get comfy with the terrain and start to push your limits. Controlling a slide at the top of third gear with your right foot to the floor is an incredible feeling and I want more 😈 Bouncing back and forth between the track and the pad was super fun all day even though it was raining. Can’t wait for more tandems and Thunderhill West GLL events! THANK YOU! @goodluckleague
