Yesterday was the first time I ran a race and didn’t have a time goal. It felt incredible. I was coming off a recent PR so that helped lol. It was also my first time running the RBC — I really wanted to take it all in. So, I didn’t track mile pace. I listened to my body and did what felt “right.” I took in the crowd signs, took in the heat, hydrated extra carefully throughout the race, and had sweaty hugs with old and new friends. Pushing your body’s limit is a privilege and I had so much fun getting to do it with @wlbrooke yesterday! I also “naturally” still finished sub 2 hours, which felt pretty awesome. Thanks, body!
4th half…so, close to a marathon? 🤪 congrats to London runners! And everyone else — rooting for your success on whichever goals you are working on 🫶🏻
