I wanted to share a few images from the latest music video I shot, which was for my brother Dave. Being both the DOP and the cameraman was a challenging task. These photos show the set before and after we added lighting. This took place in a warehouse that appears abandoned during the day. Art direction is challenging without major investment, but with the right lighting, the set can be effectively captured at night.
The transformation is striking, lighting can completely reshape a scene and adapt it to fit any cinematic style. I've noticed many aspiring filmmakers invest all their savings in high-end cameras, but the truth is, lighting is what really makes the difference. Without light, there is no picture.
This was created with a small crew consisting of two best boys one camera assistant and me.

We had very little time to do this film in just under three hours, we were on the run as Dr Hassan Ben Moussa had a flight to catch. Time is always short, so accuracy and confidence play a key factor in these productions. Grateful for the trust, it is always a pleasure to develop and create new ideas. 🎥🎞️✨
