The @flchamber ’s Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition is back for its second year, celebrating the innovation, talent, and economic impact of products made right here in our state.
Florida’s manufacturing sector supports more than 426,700 jobs and drives billions in economic activity across Florida, making it an essential part of our state’s continued growth.
The Coolest Thing Made in Florida is a statewide, bracket-style competition where products are nominated, advance through public voting, and compete head-to-head until one winner is crowned.
Last year’s competition generated strong statewide engagement, and in 2026, we’re aiming even higher!
Whether you manufacture a product in Florida or know a company that does, we encourage you to nominate and help spread the word across your network.
Visit the link in our bio to nominate by May 31!
What does Tallahassee’s next economy look like, and how do we build it together?
Over the last several months, Chamber President & CEO Michael Dalby has spent time listening to business leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, elected officials, and community stakeholders across our region. Those conversations helped shape a new roadmap focused on growing Tallahassee’s economy, strengthening private-sector opportunity, and building long-term momentum for our community.
This is more than a vision; it’s a call to action. Building the next chapter of Tallahassee’s economy will take collaboration, alignment, and engagement from across the community.
We invite you to read the roadmap, share your feedback, and be part of the conversation as we work together to create a stronger, more prosperous future for Tallahassee.

Understanding where our economy is and where it’s headed is critical to building a stronger Tallahassee.
The Chamber’s Economic Forum brought business and community leaders together to take a closer look at the trends shaping our region, our state, and our future. With insights from @flchamber Chief Economist Dr. Keith Richard, attendees gained a valuable perspective on the forces driving growth and the opportunities ahead for our local economy.
These conversations matter. They help equip our members with the knowledge to make informed decisions, support job creation, and strengthen our business climate.
We’re grateful for the strong support from our sponsors and members who make events like this possible and continue to invest in the success of our community.
@leoncountyschools is being recognized statewide for meaningful progress in expanding college access, and it’s a reflection of what strong community partnership can achieve.
Through the @aspirecapitalregion initiative, local leaders, educators, and volunteers are working together to remove barriers and create clearer pathways for students to pursue their future. This year’s recognition as the Most Improved Large District in the Florida FAFSA Challenge highlights the impact of that work, from new College and Career Centers to dedicated coaching support and programs like BEACON.
We’re proud to serve as the backbone organization for ASPIRE and to partner with Leon County Schools and so many committed stakeholders who are helping more students take the next step after graduation.
