Join us from August 5th - August 7th at @meatmarketmelb for three nights of unbridled Queer excellence as we explore the ways hunger and longing manifest and shape Queer existence and identity.

We’re blending art, photography, fashion, sculpture, drag, performance, live painting, song, writing, spoken word and more to explore how hunger manifests in Queer bodies and lives.

For each of the three nights, our exhibit will run continuously with artwork and merchandise available to purchase but we’ll have varying live acts, performances and readings to feast on between browsing the gallery.
This is a hot line up of your favourite local talent, weaving together drag, burlesque, song, spoken word, dance and writing. You won’t want to miss it 🫦
The iconic @myheadsajungle will be live painting their words for you every night and for opening night only the divine @mayaairving will be live painting too.
As well as our breathtaking performances, we’ll also be running live panels on the second and third nights of the exhibit. On night two (6/8/25) join us in conversation with angels Matisse Laida (@your.never.girlfriend ) and Karina Abrego (@kmoneysince1987 ) as we discuss relationships and cultural connections to food and it’s power in building community and identity.
On the third night (7/8/25) our live panel discusses existing as a plus sized body today, fat body liberation and celebration, as well as the current return of Y2K/heroin chic/ozempic culture. We’ll be diving into the nitty gritty and the hard truths with legends of the scene and our hearts - Joocee (@2joocee ) Laura Du Vé (@femmeplastic ) and Milo Hartill (@milohartill )
Each night will leave you licking your lips and longing for more - it’s a feast you’ll never want to leave.
