We have been invited to try Take Your Time in Reading and now I see why it’s been so busy 👀 @takeyourtimereading They’re doing Asian x Western fusion — the kind of combos that sound a bit odd on paper, but somehow really work. 🥢 Classic Wok-Fried Vermicelli 星洲炒米 Singaporean style wok-fried vermicelli, barbecue pork, prawn, and vegetables in housemade curry.— easily our dish of the day. 🍛 Pork Loin Cutlet Baked Fried Rice 焗豬扒飯 Classic Hong Kong comfort food — crispy breaded pork Loin cutlet baked with tomato sauce, pineapple, and melted mozzarella.— … unusual combo but it actually comes together really well- every table ordered this dish. 🍜 Hainan chicken Malaysia Laksa Udon 海南雞喇沙湯烏冬 Hainan Chicken, tofu puff, bean sprouts, and udon in a rich and fragrant Malaysian creamy broth.— a comforting bowl with creamy, slightly spiced laksa flavour and thick udon noodles. We also had Fried Gyoza (Pan-fried gyoza with crispy edges and juicy filling) as a starter, they were super crispy and juicy. They’ve only been open a couple of months and it was PACKED when we went — always a good sign.
