Big upgrade for University of Kentucky ahead of the Southeastern Conference NCAA Softball Championship Tournament. The team recently transitioned from RTS ROAMEO to the new RTS NOMAD platform from @rts_intercomsofficial with support from TakeOne Broadcast Solutions.
The upgrade brings several major improvements to game-day communications And the timing could not have been better. By day two of tournament play, the system had already been exposed to rain conditions which is exactly the type of environment these systems are designed to handle.
Excited to see the system already proving itself in live tournament conditions and proud to have helped support the deployment alongside the UK Athletics and RTS teams.

We’re in the middle of rack build and precommissioning here at TakeOne HQ for a university client’s new Control Room, and this is where it all starts to come together.
What makes this one even more meaningful is the impact beyond the install. This isn’t just a control room, it’s a training ground. A place where students will get hands-on experience with real-world systems and learn what it takes to step into this industry.
We’re also reminded how grateful we are to be supported by so many great partners and manufacturers. The gear in this room represents more than just equipment, it reflects years of innovation, trust, and collaboration across our industry.
