Sustainable impact takes a village. Our latest documentary shows how.
In Barangay Potrero, protecting the environment goes beyond clean-up drives. Together with @breakfreefromplastic and @motherearthph , they’ve built community-led systems that last—from reuse and refill programs to sorting 500 kg of waste every day.
This community is leading the way. Now it’s time for the rest of us to step up.
Meet the team behind the lens.
Anyone can show up and film, but we take our time to understand. Our crew approaches every story with respect, curiosity, and compassion.
Thank you Barangay Potrero for trusting us to tell how your community paves the way to break free from plastic.

Living by the sea, and of the sea, is a lifestyle only a few of us can ever experience. However, as plastic pollution continues to grow as a global problem, this lifestlye slowly turns from a privilege to a rarity.
Let us choose to fight for our seas, not just for our sake, but especially for those whose life depends on it.
We live by the sea. It feeds us, shapes our culture, and is deeply woven into our everyday lives.
With that comes the responsibility to protect it. This is why Sea Adventure School is teaching the next generation to care for our oceans today—so we can all enjoy a clean, healthy sea tomorrow.

In casting a global vision, it’s easy to double down on the big picture—the numbers, the philosophy, the mission. However, even those are very important, sometimes the best way to make sure that the macro is absorbed deeply is by visualizing the micro: the real human stories of those who carry the vision everyday. Showing the impact of a single person does a great deal.
This way, we get a strong emotional response to whatever takeaway we want to share.

This project was special. It required the filmmaker to adopt a fly-on-the-wall type of demeanor—allowing events and conversations to naturally unfold. In time, the story and its takeaway began to reveal itself.
