Still processing everything from Friday… honestly what a beautiful first step for BASS ONE UNION 🧡 We came into London knowing we were the new guys in a city full of established drum & bass nights and strong crews. No big expectations, no ego — just passion for the music, love for the culture and the desire to build something real. Seeing people turn up, dance, connect and show love to the project meant more than we can explain. The energy was there all night and that’s something you can’t fake. Big respect to everyone who came through — whether you travelled across the city, pulled up with friends or even just came out of curiosity to give us a chance. That support matters more than numbers. Huge thanks to @bonnot_dnb and @generallevy for bringing pure energy and proper vibes to the dancefloor. Respect to all the artists, DJs, MCs and crews involved for believing in the vision and helping create such a positive atmosphere. Also mad love to everyone who came to support and connect with us during the night — seeing heads like @bennypagemusic @modulizer_uk @qua_rush and @tranceyparkerfm showing love genuinely meant a lot. Special thanks to the team at @rollingstocklondon for the hospitality and for giving space to new projects like ours. For us this has never been about pretending to be something bigger than we are. We’re just a humble crew trying to create opportunities, connect people, support emerging artists and step outside our comfort zone to build bridges beyond our own scene and country. On the line-up: @misura_music Active since the early 90s, Misura’s journey started in Sardinia playing piano and keyboards in rock bands before moving into hip hop production, sampling and DJing. From early experiments with hardware like the Roland S-50 to years of refining his craft across clubs and raves in Italy, his sound has always been driven by rhythm and exploration. After relocating to London, he studied Music Informatics at the University of Westminster and went on to release and remix for international labels while performing in iconic venues such as Ministry of Sound, Egg and Rhythm Factory. Today, Misura channels all of that experience into drum & bass — blending technical precision with raw emotion, bringing a sound that reflects decades of underground influence. Part of the @takeabreakset collective, a project born in Sardinia and growing across Europe, focused on giving jungle and drum & bass the space and respect they deserve.
