In 1991, Mazda achieved the unthinkable. They won the 24 hours of Le Mans with a rotary engine. This was Mazda’s last chance to win with a rotary engine, as the FIA banned them in 1992.
The lesson here is: chase your dreams now, because the rules may change next year.
