Here it is. A project which sets an end to my sneaker customising journey.
For a really long time I didn’t know what should I make for my final graphic design assignment … I wanted to do a book dedicated to only my custom shoes or the process of customising but something felt off. For some time back then, I was struggling with me not really liking doing this anymore. It started to feel more like a chore than something I was genuinely enjoying. So without any real intention this book became a way for me to mentally prepare to say Bye to sneaker art.
I poured all of my thoughts into it and tried writing them down as best as I could. It was a really nice process. I felt good getting this off my chest. Like a journal of sorts. Of course, just words on paper would be boring so I decided to visually enrich the whole thing with different graphic elements. It was a lottttt of planning. The most difficult thing was to come up with a logical concept for the flow of the book. It ended up being like this:
The intro: talking about myself, stuff I like/dislike, what brings me peace, what I enjoy doing …
The beginning: talking about the start of my journey with customising
The highlights: going through some of my favorite projects and events that were possible because of sneaker art
The process: a short rundown on how I do it. What i’ve learned in the past 5 years of doing this.
When the the custom is finished we come to a part where chapters disappear, I become lost. (Slide 15)
This was essentially the most difficult part of the book to go through because I was writing about how difficult it is for me to let go of something that’s formed my teenage years. I talke about expectations from other people, the outside pressure and also my inner battles. For the first time in my life I didn’t know what’s next. And it broke me.
To close of the project, the story transitions into my realising how much I’d enjoyed making the book and that graphic design is actually something that I really really like therefore the last chapter is really playful and colorful suggesting a new possible path in my life. That’s how it ends. The caption is so long i have to continue in the comments.
Hey… so yeah. I know I just disappeared all of the sudden but it was just to overwhelming at the time. I couldn’t handle everything that was going on in my life and I needed a break.
Today, I’m sharing my last custom that I’ve made. These were specifically painted for my final graphic design project for school (I painted them in December 2024) and I had a friend of mine @blaz_stantic_kobal_ shoot the whole process so I would have some nice imagery to use. We were pretty limited with time so I was working on them for like 8 hours straight (still could only finish one shoe).
The next post you will see is the finished project itself, a book containing my full custom sneaker journey. I will tell more about the whole situation in the caption of that post.
Tried to make a lil cool video for these as I’m not the craziest editor. Idk what do you guys think? Is it good or a sloppy concept … well yeah anyways.
I came across this really cool edit by unit.ae on tiktok and wanted to make a video combining my art and his edit. Shoutout to him!
Here they are finallyyy, pics of the custom Air Force 1’s I made for @nick.digiovanni 👨🍳. Thank you @barbalic_photo for helping me out last minute to take some cleann photos of these.
This is probably the most detailed character work I’ve done up until now and honestly I was pretty worried about how they would turn out. I have to say im pretty please with the results and I lovee the color pallete on these🎨

Longly awaited custom Air Force 1’s for @nick.digiovanni are here🐀👨🍳. For one of the best chefs out there I had to cook too. Hopefully I did… Let me know what do you think of this one and I’m curious if anyone can guess in how much time I made these👁️⏳

The past week I spent two days at Ljubljana fashion week, representing @creptician with @annatheroyal and @thesolecleanic .
It was a really fun experience with awesome people although I was quite nervous prior the event just because I’m not a very social guy. But I try to push myself out of my comfort zone and I’m happy @leabernetic invited me to come. Building up connections with new people is something I’m trying to get better at and these opportunities help me with that.
Nice.
Vintage Tiger Woods tee inspired puma’s for @cmpulisic . To think that my first pair of this brand’s shoes are for one of the best football players in the world is still crazy to me😵💫.
I had such a tight deadline for these but I was able to ship them out a day before and they fortunately arrived on time. Very grateful for another dope opportunity 🙏🏼

I spent way too much time on some of the transitions and somehow the video managed to get a slight audio delay so now it doesn’t look nice anymore 😪 . Anyways here’s a pair I made for @cmpulisic . It was a super quick turnaround and a style that isn’t quite the usual. So I’d love to know what do you think of this one:)
