A week spent with these crazy people (there must be something wrong with all of them)
My first birthday abroad.

That was dialog from my evacuation from the mountain.
This time Pamir mountains did not greet me so well. After four days spent in the Basecamp, I felt sick and our medic came to a descition that I have to be evacuated(I was diagnosed with Lung and Celebral Edema) . As there are no helicopters or any other rescue services, There was only way of doing that. By our own foot. Soon a team was gathered, the guys took care of my belongings(I can not imagine how I could have done it myself with Celebral Edema starting to show its effects on me). They took care of everything. I only had to use my legs. That's it. On the other hand, it was the only thing that was working properly. An hour into our hike we had that dialogue which is at the top of this text. That pretty much sums up this whole experience.
Do I feel bad about not summiting? Yes and no. It was also an experience. As you are going to the mountains you have to take possibility of medical problems into consideration and be aware of that. Was it disappointing to leave a Basecamp? Of course yes, I left the camp with tears in my eyes and went into the unknown.
Where did that lead me? It led me to understanding of the world a bit differently.After I left hospital I met @sayannath . He had this idea that I have to treat everything as a miracle. The fact that I was able to travel there was a miracle, the fact that I could come to the mountains was a miracle, the fact that I could walk of that mountain was a miracle and the fact that we were talking that day was also a miracle. Treat everything as a miracle and you are going to be greeted with miracles!

Haven't posted anything in a while. Today I was going through my photos and found this one. This photo was taken this winter while our new-born mountaineer group was trying to figure out what mountains are. The route was kinda easy: we had to accent the mountain pass, after that was the only crux- the traverse of the steep slope and a ridge. After the crux there was an easy and relieving hike up to the summit.The views were amazing.I took this photo as I reached the peak. Finally I felt safe and it was the time I remembered that I had a camera in my backpack. I took my camera and snapped the shot. I think that it’s one of the best pictures I have taken.

The only pic of me trying to do kiteboarding. As you can see it didn't go well... One of the lines broke and moments from this shot the kite was looping.
It was still a great experience to be a part of this adventure!

Haven't been on a bike for a while. It was fun to be a part of opening of the first real bikepark in Lithuania 🇱🇹 Hope this park will have a huge impact for local community.

Nuotykiai kalnų, meškų ir pigaus maisto šalyje. Automobiliuke atsiradę šimtai kvapų jau mūsų nosių nebetrikdo, miegas gamtoje ant kilimėlio nebegąsdina net ir miesto vaikio @_myhael , o @simonas_krencius ir @the.vainius vis paserviruoja po smagų vakarinį šou. Sloguojanti @drivingaround nuolat atsisako arbatos, na o @kristina.eidikyte ,panašu, kad ir akmenį prakalbintų. Pamilau šiuos ataušėlius!
Šis rytas prasidėjo nuo kelionės į Svencelę. Kol likusi @windtrain komandos dalis saldžiai miegojo... Arba linksminosi Kintuose, aš jau buvau pakeliui. Kas gi mane privertė atsibelsti į šią vietą 5 valandą ryte? Atsakymas gana paprastas- noras tobulėti ir geriau pažintį šį sportą pro objektyvo stiklus, bei sutikti rytą gražioje vietoje patiriant kažką naujo. Atvykęs į vietą susitinku su Goda @drivingaround , kuri double chekina ir pasidomi ar tikrai yra noro lįsti į vandenį taip anksti... Gal miegas visgi yra teisingas pasirinkimas. Ištariu lemtingajį LET'S GOOOO! Ir išgirstu jau ne kartą girdėtą frazę "you crazy, dude". Po penkiolikos minučių mes jau vandenyje, fotoaparatas vis geriau prilimpa prie mano rankų, jau pastebiu ką ir kaip geriau nufotografuoti. Gimsta širdį glostantys kadrai. Prabėgus šiek tiek laiko Goda duoda man nurodymus- eiti atsinešti trapeciją ir "dešymkę". Suprantu, kad ji nusiteikusi pravesti dar ir vieną pamoką. Taigi galiu pasidžiaugti ir mažomis pergalėmis- man pagaliau pavyko stabiliai nuplaukti pirmąjį šimtą metrų ir pradėti mokytis "pjauti" į vėją! Rytinę sesiją baigiame puikiomis nuotaikomis. Vėliau seka kaitavimo varžybos, kuriose dalyvauja gausi @windtrain komanda iš kurios net trys atstovai patenka į finalą! Spėju pamečiau savo pradinę mintį, bet vistiek noriu padėkoti @drivingaround už kantrybę ir puikiausias emocijas, kuriomis sugebi pasidalinti.
