Last weekend we brought the Thomas family and the Peffer family back for A Day to Forget, A Day to Remember at the Philadelphia Flyers game, and the entire day felt special from start to finish. The Flyers welcomed us with so much heart, giving these families a chance to breathe, smile, and make memories that rise above the weight of ALS. After the final buzzer, Trevor Zegras took the time to meet everyone, share stories, and add a little extra magic to a day that already meant so much.
We’re grateful to the Flyers for opening their doors and to Tackle ALS for continuing to fuel this mission. Moments like these remind us why we show up, and why we’ll keep showing up, for families who deserve a day to simply feel joy.
We’re proud to share that Team Goose is partnering with Tackle ALS to bring meaningful, joy-filled experiences to families living with ALS. Tackle ALS was founded by Tim Green, who leads the charge with strength and purpose, and the mission is powerfully supported by Adam Fox and his wife Tate, Tim’s daughter, who have become strong advocates for ALS awareness and impact. Their work has raised more than ten million dollars and has helped families feel supported, informed, and connected during one of the hardest journeys anyone can face.
Together, we will expand A Day to Forget. A Day to Remember. to even more families. This program gives people a chance to breathe, to feel normal, and to create memories that last longer than the challenges of ALS. It is a reminder that moments of joy matter, even in the middle of heavy circumstances.
Thank you to the Tackle ALS team for believing in this shared mission, and to the families who inspire everything we do. This partnership is about showing up, taking action, and creating hope one experience at a time.
Thank you @atlantafalcons and @saints for another successful 50/50 raffle and the constant support in our fight against ALS! It was such an incredible day made even better with a Falcons win! Rise Up and Let’s Beat This! @teamgleason
Always great to see my friend and long-time broadcast partner Tim Green, who was the @atlantafalcons honorary captain today. Tim founded @tackleals in 2018, and the organization has raised over $9 million for ALS research! Tim continues his battle with the utmost grace and class. 🏈📕🎤

Although it wasn’t the result on the field I wanted… I had a great weekend in New Orleans with one of my heroes @stevegleasonofficial@tackleals and @teamgleason partnered up with the @nfl , @atlantafalcons and @saints to raise over $200,000 for new ALS medicines and technologies.
None of this could have happened without the support of my dear friend Arthur Blank.
ALS has made huge strides this year and there are more big things coming in 2024.
Thanks to all of you for helping spread the word to raise awareness and funds!

Together Tim and Steve served as Honorary game captains and raised over $125K for ALS technology and research! We can’t wait to do it again in January!
The @atlantafalcons and @Saints are teaming up to host 50/50 raffles during both of their matchups this season!
The proceeds will directly benefit @TeamGleason and our very own @TackleALS in partnership with the Healey & AMG Center at Mass General. Thank you so much to both teams for their support. We are thrilled to tackle ALS this season with Team Gleason
