Help me wish Sarah “The Silent Assassin” Ardell a Happy Birthday. She’s a Representative of T.A.C. Boxing Promotions and a Amateur Fighter under T.A.C. Boxing & Fitness Gym located in College Park MMA Facility. She has been with us now for approximately 2 years. When she first started, she could barely run a mile or do a pull-up with her 115 pound frame but she wouldn’t let anyone outwork her. She is now one of our Team Captains for the Boxing Team and she leads the way, pressing a 45 pound weight, 3 sets of 30 reps and tosses a 30 pound medicine ball on a regular basis in sets and she runs 3-5 miles on a regular basis with wind sprints. She’s now 122 pounds of muscle and she spars with the guys, hitting them with vicious body shots.  In January of 2019, I met Sarah, whom had tried Karate, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts & ToughWoman Contest and I asked her why she wanted to Box?” She replied, I want to train with one of the best Boxing Coaches, win a Belt, bring it back to the Gym To place on display and make my Mother proud as well as gain the support of my Family, Boyfriend & Team.” She accomplished that mission last year bringing a belt home by a stoppage win and we have traveled the Country Competing in major tournaments. . After traveling down to South Carolina for 2 Vegas Grand Promotion’s and 1 James Toney Promotion’s Events, only to have our fights canceled without notice or the opponents simply pulling out. T.A.C.’‘s Fighter, Akeem “Action Action” Jackson, was contacted by Fiddler’s Promotions to compete against their undefeated fighter, whom had flown in from Las Vegas, for his first 6 round Main Event at the North Charleston Convention Center in South Carolina on December 11th. Late Repost from the recent fight two weeks ago. • • #Repost @tacboxingdc ・・・ Congratulations to Aaron “The Wolf” Thorne III for his Unanimous Decision Victory last night in South Carolina, raising his record to 2-0. Aaron finished out his Muay Thai Amateur Career at 2-0 after training at T.A.C. Boxing Camp a few years ago and enhancing his skills tremendously . It was very clear that “The Wolf” went into the fight looking for a knockout but in this game of Boxing known as “The Sweet Science” you have to be prepared for everything when your opponent doesn’t cooperate, which is called having a plan B. Aaron fought a Veteran with 6 Fights whom had fought everyone with winning records and it was also in his hometown of South Carolina where he now resides so we knew that he was coming to battle. Aaron also had to overcome some minor setbacks in training camp dealing with outside sources. Everyone loves a winner but you can’t let everyone into your grid square because they’ll make you believe that they have your back but they’re actually doing things for self gain. Therefore, I had to get rid of the garbage. 🗑 Thank you Joshua Peters for coming to help out in the corner. I was confident in turning Aaron Professional in the Boxing Game because of our chemistry over the years & last night he listened very well, fighting an awkward Southpaw and he boxed very smart.
