What feels like a bajillion years ago now, I married a guy, and we took off on an absolute whirlwind adventure to places I had never even dreamed of. We talked about maybe, just maybe, bringing our children back one day to this utterly magical spot in the middle of the Botswanan delta. And this year, on our 19th wedding anniversary, that dream came true. We had lunch in the same place we dined with the hungry hippos those many years ago. Cannot believe how lucky we were and are.
