𝓥𝓮𝓷𝓾𝓼 𝓲𝓷 𝓣𝓱𝓻𝓮𝓮 𝓜𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 ♥︎ 𝓣𝓐𝓑𝓛𝓞𝓘𝓓 𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼 Venus in Three Movements draws on Hartman’s critical fabulation-archival absence, fragmentation, and silence understood as evidence of the conditions under which histories and bodies are produced. As Hartman writes, “the archive is inseparable from the play of power that produced it.” Incompleteness and opacity become generative forces. The public programme extends 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗿 - across three thematic axes - Gossip, Echo, Alienation - grounded in partnerships with @tabloidpress , @goethe_institut_im_exil , and @refugeworldwide . We are excited to introduce our collaborator who will bring a textual, intimate layer to Venus in Three Movements: 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐈𝐃 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 poetics are embodied disclosures, versed environments, tall orders. They are poets talking and playing with talking. Conceived in Berlin in 2014 by Zack Darsee and Nadia Marcus, the project’s first publication was a gossip column on newsprint—the effect of its lyrics were intended not only for the private reader, but for the whole interpersonal terrain in and about which they wrote. Wrote poems that could also bridge “scenes,” slice open a “club.” Wrote to enter a dancefloor as a poet and let the dancefloor enter the poem.  Beyond its primary imprint as a poetry press, TABLOID upholds its role as a publisher expansively. As an instrument for „making public.” Activities in the years since its founding have included facilitating poetry workshops, designing posters and clothing, and hosting a regular radio broadcast. No matter the format or function, the press’ activities are always means of innervating the body, be it collective or individual, with the lyric. For Venus in Three Movements, Darsee and Marcus will curate a programme of live readings and performances. Buttressing each instalment and utilising various spaces of the ACUD complex, these poets, musicians and performers draw focus to the relational and ephemeral, the sonic and blushingly sensual charge TABLOID’s events fill a room with.  𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆: 𝟬𝟱.𝟬𝟲.𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 as part of @projectspacefestival

Who isn't a citizenry draped in lilac ethics? Are you a froth? In Shannon Hearn's PARANOID CITI, an interrogative story is shaping up. She's uploading music for grace in crisis. UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE by Kelly Clare (Paraphernalia and Addenda 2.1) Includes 3 poems by Dre Roelandt. Available now on our webshop (Link in bio) - - - “Like the Elizabeth Bishop painting “Interior with Extension Cord,” Kelly Clare’s helical, light-filled Universal Product Code delicately traces a bewildering infrastructure. This incantatory song, “busy in green,” points its reader to the disturbing beauty in stripey checksum barcodes, to arrays of imported figs at the grocer, to words like cloud or lime that now mean too much. Humorous, musical, perspicacious, this chapbook rocks.” - Katherine Gibbel, April 2026 “Kelly Clare makes the UPC feel both like sacred geometry and the final straws drawn at the twilight of civilization. Plutarch wrote that “Plato said God geometrizes continually,” and Clare proposes something similar of the UPC. But then she proceeds to break open the code of the production-gods, liberate its material, and with it form lines slanting towards a new spectrum of material perception.” -Ian Lockaby @lockaby_ursa - - - 20 pages, approx. 14 × 20 cm. Layout, design and printing by Zack Darsee. Printed on risograph at Das Pallasseum in Schöneberg, Berlin. A TABLOID Publication. Spring 2026.

On February 20, 2026 – foreshadowing the date of soft power’s annual members’ meeting – Saturn and Neptune aligned in Aries at 0° in a rare and profound celestial event. With “A Rare Conjunction”, TABLOID Press (Zack Darsee & Nadia Marcus) and anorak bakery (Lukas Ludwig) co-starred this year’s edition of soft power’s annual members’ event as a moment of gathering and reflection, of unlikely constellations and stellar outlooks. While Saturn rules over discipline, structure, time, limitation, Neptune, on the other hand, is all about the dream, the idealism, the vision, the foggy hopes that don’t always come into clear focus. The conjunction in Aries, a sign known for independence and initiative, sets the stage for a powerful moment: the chance (and challenge) to actively build a bridge between what’s real and what’s possible; to ask what dreams are worth fighting for – and whether we are ready to build the scaffolding that makes them real.

@tabloidpress and @softpowerverysoft are honoured to present the fifth and final iteration of Feedback, kindly hosted at @anorakanorak . We are looking forward to contributions by: Lyra Pramuk @lyra.pramuk , Berlin-based, American multidisciplinary artist. Compelled by collectivity, spirituality, consciousness and care, she has conceived a unique form of devotional music. Exploring the ecstatic genesis of sacred ritual practices, Lyra draws from folk, house, techno, gospel and her formal classical education. (Photo by Leonardo Scotti) The Neighbourhood Character @nghbrhd_chrctr , DJ, cultural writer, and strategist moving quietly between worlds. They bring a thoughtful, grounded perspective to their practice, navigating the intersections of creative expression and everyday life. Liola Mattheis @ab00vo , poet and theorist based in Berlin. In both her academic and literary work, she engages with natural history, accumulation, and sexuality. Her poetic practice playfully leans on formalist approaches and is driven by abstraction.
