The Frankenstein Society Meeting Handbook is a group roleplaying game where each player takes the role of a 'ethically curious' scientist – someone who is interested in making monsters, abominations and creatures whose existence is an affront to god they/themselves! Who knows, you could even create the creature that kills god and lives inside it's divine entrails! All of this, and more, awaits.
Players attend meetings, share their recent developments (i.e. what is cool about their monsters) and record their creation's weaknesses (privately). The hardest thing is not taking a reputational wound when you realize someone else's monster would have yours for breakfast. Take too many of these and you'll end up like Mr. Corbitt!
You will need a group of two or more likeminded students of the craft, a set of roleplaying dice, pens, paper, and somewhere to hold your meeting. You could even use the devil's postman (the internet). Rules for optional solo play included.

NEW: In Legend Has It, players create an anthology of stories. Each time a player takes a turn, they grab a book and turn to a page, paragraph, and sentence dictated to them by the game. They read this sentence aloud and then use it as inspiration to tell the next part of the story.
Each story in the anthology the players are creating pulls sentences out of its own book. When one story ends, the next player picks out a new book to start a new one. The start and finish of each story is dictated by the timeline cards in the game.
The timeline starts with one story, but as the game progresses, other stories are added and begin interweaving with one another. Eventually, all the stories in the timeline come to an end, and the game is over.
