Wasn't it The National Handloom Day yesterday?
The moment I realised it was, I also remembered my first visit to Kolkata's Biswa Bangla, from where I picked my first-ever handloom saree. (I'm the proud owner of the yellow one in the first pic!)
I just 🧡 the texture and colours of handloom textile, planning to add a few more in the wardrobe post lockdown.

I pose the same question to you too. ~~
What is that first thing you'll do after they officially declare that the world is completely free from this pandemic?

Happy women's day to every self-empowered woman in this world. You may not be even aware that it's an #internationalwomensday today. You may not be even aware of the immense strength you have within you. It doesn't matter. Just keep rocking and have a wonderfully #enabled #equal and #empowered life.

I never celebrated Valentine's Day in my whole lifetime. Yes, not even once. I always thought these special days are all hyped up. But today I'm thinking a little differently.
With so much animosity, hatred and stress around us, I think a day to remember the emotion of love is a requisite. And it's not just the romantic kind of love. Love towards people, possessions, passions, the planet, and most importantly love towards one's own self; every shade of love is so beautiful and must be cherished.
Today I'll be celebrating my first ever Valentine's Day. No, not by going on a typical dinner date or with a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses. The celebration is more in the mind. The proof of it is in the smile.
You too celebrate love by being aware of this beautiful emotion. Let love dominate all those negative emotions around us. Start it today, continue forever.
Love is powerful enough to take care of the rest. Have a #HealthyValentinesDay
Last night, a little piece of my Ladakh was in Mumbai. A piece that's very close to my heart. A person that reintroduces you to words like 'trust', 'innocence' and 'genuineness' all at once, as he says, 'Juley!' I've known Kunchok as a driver since July 2015, and have not only kept in touch, but travelled with him more than once, not as a driver, but a friend.
He is a hustler and a good soul who's moved mountains to give his family a good life. Today, his daughter is a medical student in Pathankot. He is grown as a businessman, father, husband and a human being in ways more than one.
Today he is en route his epic road trip from Ladakh to Kanyakumari, along with Bhutan and Nepal, with his 6 friends. Let's wish him all the best for this journey, and many more to come! 🙂

Have you ever felt stationary even when your feet are moving? Some call it wanderlust, some call it homesickness, depending on which side of the road you are walking.
