Book your place at the Stitching Circles on Saturday January 17th with artist Tabitha Moses. Link in bio. Explore colour, rhythm and the ancient symbol of the circle as we slow down and sew together. Suitable for all skill levels.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the meditative craft of hand embroidery through circular, symmetrical designs inspired by mandalas - timeless symbols found in many cultures.
A chance to slow down in this season of rest and recuperation, to enjoy the gentle ebb and flow of conversation as we stitch together. You’ll learn simple techniques to design and embroider your own mandala-inspired pattern in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
We’ll consider the cultural roots of mandalas and look at ancient and modern circular designs for inspiration.
This workshop is perfect for complete beginners and anyone wanting to refresh their sewing skills, as well as experienced embroiderers. Workshop cost £72/52. @liverpool_indie_art_school
All materials and equipment will be provided, along with hot drinks aplenty.
You just need to bring a packed lunch.
We met this generous and adventurous fella while on hols in Cornwall. Bradley (the human!) is cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for Jenny who needs lifesaving surgery in the USA. Visit the GoFundMe page to follow his progress and donate. https://gofund.me/d20df85b
