Command with Confidence
It’s no secret that improvisers were the coolest kids in school, right...right? Right!?
Okay so maybe not - but all those theatre kids gave wicked presentations. In this workshop we’re going to learn to command space with confidence. Through improv we’ll find comfort, not terror, in public speaking and standing in front of any crowd whether it’s a raucous bar in the middle of the night or your office conference room at 11am.
About Brielle:
Brielle Jobe has studied acting, improv, and theatre for over a decade with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Catawba College (USA). She is a resident member of the Clubhouse’s in-house improv troupe Typical Adult Behavior and runs three stand-up open mics across the city. Additionally, she works as an presentation/dialect coach offering personalized one-on-one sessions focusing on acting, directing, and vocalization to local English speaking performers.
This week's guest, Liron Barre, is an improviser, clown, and performer creating bold, physical, and playful stage work. Liron is half of the duo ImPresent and part of the Ithaca Improv Festival and Flock Theatre in Amsterdam, sharing her work with impro communities around the world.
