A very special few days away with my wonderful Mother. A trip down memory lane to the place we’ve been coming for over 30 years (and since the 60’s for my mum!)
16 of those years were with our wonderful Woody dog (see final photo), we missed her so much this time but brought her jacket to put on the settle where she liked to sit.
No signal = quality time & puzzle frustration - and the ability to jump over the fence, swim and dash back to the bath is perfection. I miss it already 💙

Snowdonia adventures ft a skinny dip, a large amount of pasta, a lot of rain, 50mph wind, finding a secret pool, all 20 Detectorists episodes and quality time together. For obvious reasons I can’t share the rainy footage of our skinny dip in the lake but if anyone was curious, Sarah says I look like slide 14 when entering and exiting the water - a ‘Small Prophets’ homunculus. She is, in fact, not incorrect 🏴
