Damn. I don’t post in Social media much. But had to show some love to @official_dwayne_wiggins D When I first met him I was a young ignorant niglet trying to get in the music business. Over the years our paths have crossed plenty of times, mostly in music. When I first got to Atlanta I got a call found out D’Wayne had recently bought a house in the area and wanted me to come by. So Will and I would go over and fish and talk creative stuff with him. It was such an interesting element as we would laugh about the odds of us relocating around rhe same time. I wanted to share this moment of when I first told him about @larussell and how he reacted. I would argue that D’Wayne had one of the greatest eyes for talent. Gonna miss just chopping it up with him and watching his excitement when we talk about these crazy ideas. Creators understand… the idea of a concept is the greatest feeling. Our mutual love of Oakland. And just life. Fatherhood. Family and legacy. He never gets the respect he deserves, but he has put so many people on.
