PAINTING "DAYDREAMER" using TABBY quick folding stencil technique.
Hand crafted stencils using original designs. This method was created for maximum speed and precision on many nights painting street art.
Not only is it fast, but aligning layers was easy, even in the dark.
When I'm not doing big pieces I still use this method from time to time when painting outdoors. Of course it's just as useful and fun for indoor use ✌️.
Be sure to follow to see more coming soon.
"Capture Love" - TABBY. Vienna, Austria. You control what you decide to focus on.
Believe it or not but I didnt realize there was an old camera factory right next to it. 📸 ♥️
There was actually a year long plan and talks with the city to get this piece put up on the 50meter tall APA tower, but @callelibre beat me to it. Absolutely no hard feelings, they and @okudart did an amazing job with the building! 🤟

The other artist has responded...
To avoid doxxing him, I have left out his name and blurred his identity.
There can be a fine line between inspiration and plagiarism in art, but this update is to make clear that this was more than just taking inspiration from another artist.
I don't plan on pursuing this any further. I hope the other artist learns something and works on his own designs in the future. Everyone deserves a second chance.
His full response video is 10 minutes long and posted on his personal Facebook page. Again, to prevent further issues, I won't be linking to his video/page, but you can find a full transcript at tabbythis.com
Let me know if you've had similar issues in the past.
My piece was recently stolen by another "artist". I won't name them because it would just give them more publicity.
Details: The wall owner had commissioned somebody to write text on a wall, but the "artist" painted a large replica of my piece "Daydreamer" instead. Since the wall owner didn't have permits for a mural, and also because she later found out the art was stolen, she decided to paint over it.
The "artist" rallied up local support for "their" mural, saying higher ups in the city want it removed. Over 400 people locally backed up the "artist" and the wall owner felt pressured to leave it or face the backlash.
The "artist", who is actually a tattoo artist, previously hadn't done murals, but because of the attention is already getting new mural commission work.
If you enjoy my work and want to paint one of my pieces on your own wall for private use, then that's great. But if you say you're an artist and paint other people's art, claiming it's yours, then that's a bit different.
What do you think, was his a copy of my piece, what would you do?
The original MONEY BUNNY - Painted with charcoal, watercolor and of course a real dollar bill.
Prints available this Friday @urbanshitgallery
