Hello again! Spring is here! Time for a little refreshing. Our updated website includes previous projects and now also information about our table service offerings for you and yours.
PS: keep an eye out on our socials as we will be back soon with more seats to fill, upcoming dinners, gatherings, and projects - we’re (almost) ready for Tabili season 3. 🪁
From table, to garden, street, and dance floor. Thank you all for taking a (first) seat at our table.
We are looking forward to more of these moments this upcoming year, around the table and beyond.
Love,
Tabili 💙
@tab.ili is an exploration of bringing people together around a table, creating intimate experiences centred on themes of nourishment, community and rituals through three simple pillars: Conversation, Connection, and Cuisine.
We sat down with founders Joy and Hannah van Geerestein to discuss the core values that led to the immense growth Tabili has had since The First Supper in 2021.

A glimpse of our collaboration with @drmartensofficial last month, where we explored The Art of Comfort for the launch of their new Zebzag styles.
We all move through moments of comfort and moments of discomfort, sometimes even both at once. What can we learn from these distinct yet closely connected feelings, and what do they reveal to us when we face them? The question we held close: can something inherently uncomfortable still carry comfort within it? Our menu reflected this theme. A plantain churro that looked sweet but revealed itself as savory. A sloppy burger filled with beef stew in cocoa, espresso and chipotle: messy by design, bold in flavor, yet aimed to be comforting. A white chocolate mousse cut with olive oil, salt and sesame to blur sweet and savory. Each dish invited guests to step outside expectations and find comfort within the unfamiliar.
Thank you to those joining our table, until the next! 💛

Presented here, Diana’s pick: “La Guinée” by Bembeya Jazz National: a band that carried the spirit of Guinea across the world, blending tradition with electric sound and becoming the voice of a generation.
