Diamante Arts and Cultural Center is proud to present Drift and Dwelling, a two-person exhibition featuring @taahd and @patriziaferreira . On view from May 5 through June 12.
In this exhibition, both artists transform meticulously selected found, discarded, and abandoned materials into profound philosophical realms. Together, their work offers a rich and ebullient perspective on the interdependence of nature, the fragility of life, and the tragedy of time.
Join us as we explore these fascinating material transformations and the narratives they hold.

There’s something special about seeing your work hanging next to someone you truly admire. Creating “Drift and Dwelling” with @patriziaferreira and @peter_marin_artworks forced me to look at my own art in a new way. I’m so proud of what we’ve put together.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Frankie G. Weems Gallery over the last few weeks to see “Process as Practice: A Glimpse Into the Studio.”
I often find the process just as compelling as the final piece. Sharing my current research alongside my @meredithcollegeartdept faculty members led to great conversations about our respective media and methods. We are grateful to the Raleigh community and our students for engaging with our research and process.
This project is supported by United Arts Wake County and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. @unitedartswake

What a beautiful month it’s been being an artist-in-residence at the Siena Art Institute! I’m so grateful for the incredible experience.
And of course, I’ll never forget attending the Palio di Siena. The energy in the piazza was unbelievable! It was a truly unforgettable experience.
Thank you, Siena and @sienaart , for everything. Arrivederci!
