Hi, my name is Tatiana, and I'm an actor.
I've done a multitude of things over the years: finished my university degree as a pharmacist, researched nanoparticle-laden ointments on mice, worked night shifts at a pharmacy, moved to Canada (2010), started speaking French, obtained my professional license in Quebec, worked as a pharmacist again, gave birth, moved to Vancouver (2016), studied hypnosis and coaching in-depth, started a business, disliked a business, failed a business, closed a business, worked as a waitress, worked as a driver. Yet, I had never acted before 2019. It was the year of a sudden realization that I absolutely positively must act, right now, urgently, and there is no other way.
I came to this realization through a hypnotic exercise where I was prompted to think about one outrageous thing I would want to do that I haven't allowed myself to do, and this thought came out of nowhere instantly. Actually, it came out of a very deep, suppressed desire to act that I locked inside me at a very young age as this kind of frivolous thing was not encouraged. We didn't have any drama club at school, and it was not a question for me to become anything but a serious professional, preferably in the medical field.
In 2019, soon after my hypnotic revelation, I signed up for adult ensemble theater classes in a community center. With a bunch of other very serious people, we were doing amazing improvisation exercises and creating a theater performance piece that, unfortunately, never came to be due to the infamous lockdown. All the classes were canceled.
Once we collectively got back to almost normal, I took various scene study (Railtown) and acting on-camera (VADA, etc.) classes and had a total blast doing it. In 2022, I did my acting stream film arts program at Langara College, where I learned how to produce a film and met incredible people along the wayāfriends, teachers, collaborators for life.
Since graduating, I have never stopped auditioning and acting, all in independent projects for now. Many of them (but not all! āŗļø) were produced by yours truly and my awesome creative friends under the Mindfool Entertainment umbrella.

This is the fight scene clip between me and Tatiana on our short film called, "Anamolia". We can't show the full clip, but here is the fight scene! Fight choreography by Mike Li from VancouverActionTrainingStudio. Directed and written by Tatiana Alexeeva.
Also, I'm wearing the BLOKR Jacket from my friends at Budo Brothers!
In February, we made a short film for Igniter comedy challenge. It was a wonderful journey of looking at our world through the eyes of a naive interdimensional traveller.
Iām very grateful for everyone who came out to play and to bring their talent and spark into this little piece. Itās very close to my heart, and it was immensely therapeutic.
āAnomaliaā is a story about a misfit in an unknown and fascinating world. She is curious and loves to explore, but is often oblivious and not always able to navigate life's intricacies competently. The story is rooted in my personal experience as a newcomer and as a neurodivergent person struggling to fit in.
This film was also born out of the continuous onslaught of alarming news from around the world. It feels devastating and paralyzing. But I think itās so important to keep hope alive, and while doing all we can to fight injustice, itās paramount to keep seeing the beauty of this world to create a better future for all of us.

Huge thanks to Vancouver Action Training Studio for support and guidance.
This story happened on the weekend. I came to a customer to deliver a missing item, and saw her (an elderly woman) through a window lying on the floor and unresponsive. After ringing the doorbell, knocking and yelling didn't wake her up, I got worried as falls can be nasty in this demographic, and called 911. The firefighters arrived very quickly and kept making lots of noise until, thankfully, the old lady regained consciousness and was able to open the door. I'm very glad they didn't need to break in)
After the initial assessment of the customer by the emergency pros, I was able to complete my delivery. I thought that the situation turned out quite comedic in the end, so I made this sketch.
Huge thank you to the emergency services for helping people in distress day in and day out!
