God put me in storage when I went off to the military and I came back ready to make a change.

My beautiful daughter,
From all the moves we made when you were just a little girl, to the uncertainty of COVID, to watching you walk across that stage at Howard University — God has carried you every step of the way. Seeing the woman you’ve become fills my heart with a kind of pride words can barely explain.
You moved over 2,700 miles away from home and still stood strong, faithful, focused, and determined. That takes courage, discipline, and God-given strength. You earned every late night, every sacrifice, every tear, and every victory along the way.
As your dad, I want you to always remember that I am endlessly proud of you. Not just because of the degree, but because of the character, grace, and resilience you showed while getting there. You stayed true to yourself and trusted God through every season.
Howard University is now part of your story, but this is only the beginning of everything God has planned for your life. Continue to walk in faith, humility, and purpose. Keep God first and there is nothing you cannot overcome.
